Dritech ‘100’ was specifically developed to meet these requirements and offers
certain advantages over PVC (Poly Vinyl Chlorine).
WATERPROOF
Dritech ‘100’ is 100% waterproof. Seams are not stiched but welded during
production.
FLAME RETARDANT
Flame retardancy is achieved by the addition of a resin masterbatch. When in
contact with an ignition source the material emits a fume which starves the
flame of oxygen, thus inhibiting combustion. The fume is of a very low level
meeting with Fire Officer approval
In contrast flame retardant PVC emits 70% by weight of Hydrogen Chloride
when in contact with an ignition source. When combined with water in the lungs
Hydrochloric Acid solution is produced.
COMFORT
Dritech ‘100’ does not crackle or rustle and is virtually undetectable in use.
The product is very soft and comfortable, helping to maintain user dignity.
Dritech ‘100’ does not harden or crack even after frequent contact with urine.
CLEANING
Dritech ‘100’ can be easily and effectively cleaned using a cloth or sponge.
To maintain sterility disinfectants can be used. Dritech 100 does not stain or
retain odour.
